Oh hey...
Um, yeah last week was something. We are just gonna skip over all that. Just know the car got a flat tire and I was stressed outta my mind.
LETS GO!
This week has been quite a good one. This past P-day after all the fun under the sun, we went with the Temple 2 Elders, Elder Johansen and Elder Stevens, to the hospital in their area to give a lady a blessing. The mission president reached out to them and asked them to go visit this lady. We were able to join them due to unforeseen circumstances that happened earlier that day. Let's just say, it was a pretty amazing experience. The nurses and such that were working at that time told us where she was and told us there was a man across the hall from her who was also LDS. We were able to give both of them blessings. The spirit was strong and I am so grateful we were able to be there at that time.
We had to dress up in these apron things to be able to go into one of the rooms. And of course we had to take a picture. We thought we looked pretty goofy.
As we were leaving we also saw the president of the United States of AMERICA!
Look at all of us. HAHA
Elder Wyatt Tobler made a google photos album with Elder Duncan Miller, Elder David Butler, and Me. If you didn't know, you can chat on google photo albums. And another if you didn't know, they were all called Spanish speaking. They talk on it in Spanish and I have no clue what they are saying. We do share some funny or cool pictures. It looks like they are having so much fun and I am so glad! I love my friends.
I have been having a really really strong craving for ice cream. It is never ending! I will even have ice cream and think I am set for a bit, but then the next day it is back. I am really debating if I will buy any or not. I probably won't. I will have self-control.
I had my first energy drink while out here on the mission this past week. I forgot how gross but amazing they were. We had weekly planning and decided to go to the gas station to get some snacks and energy drinks. I don't think I will get any more though. It wasn't worth it.
I had another exchange with Elder Hoffmann this week. The AP's went on with the two Zone Leaders. So we had to split the Temple 1 area. It was super fun! Elder Hoffmann and I had a wonderful time jamming out to all the youth albums. The youth albums are the things that are keeping me sane. I really miss music. The list that I have with all the songs just keeps getting longer and longer. I am sending them to my brother and he is making a mega playlist and oh boy, it is going to be long.
I got a few Texas Roadhouse gift cards from my sister and my grandma. (Thank you) Elder Giuffra and I had a great lunch time.
Not a very long email this week, just keeping it nice and sweet. I've been doing well. Yes, there are hard times but we get through it! The Lord is on my side and I wouldn't want it any other way. I hope you all are doing well, I am grateful for all that read my stories. Email me if you want to say hi. Sorry if I don't respond right way. Just know that I do read them. I promise! I have nothing better to do from 9pm-10:30pm.
